There hasn’t been a single person that I’ve shown Josiah to who did not become addicted to his music.

Josiah’s Youtube site, Ohjaimes78, has a lot of older videos up as well as his latest prodcasts….but they don’t compare to seeing him live. Have any of you had the chance to see some of his live shows?

I saw him live at the mint a few weeks ago…it was amazing! the energy he puts out during his live performances is incredible. He really got the whole place to listen to him, and I think many of them were in awe. I’m planning on seeing him next friday at the Mint as well in Los Angeles, should be a good show!

I’ve seen him about 5 times live and every single time he has amazed me. This last show at The mint was one of his longest/best sets however the bar crowd kinda killed it. He has so much more talent than than any other upcoming artist. Real/Raw talent. Cant wait to see him explode.

OMG I love this kid’s music. So glad to have found this page. I’ve just seen him twice but both times he was great. He puts so much emotion into his performances. I hear he may start touring soon. Does anyone know what’s happening with that?

let’s get this thread rolling. Start by posting your favorite picture of Josiah performing as your default picture. Then list your absolute favorite song of his. Mine is, without a doubt, Another Life. Profoundly, beautifully true and heartfelt. Have a listen to the lyrics, I’m sure you’ll agree. Youtube has it at josiahvids1. Everybody’s pointing fingers, drawing lines and choosing sides….......you look so goddamn familiar, won’t you look me in the eye. Maybe you’ll be my brother, in another life.

he mentioned in a blog a while back that he was going to go to new york soon, and then his twitter status the other day said “how do you guys feel about a tour?” so he should be touring fairly soon to promote the new album! i hope we get a release date soon!!! its been far too long!

Picking just one favorite song is almost impossible. They are ALL so good! Josiah is a natural…amazing talent! The world needs to hear/know what we do! They are missing out! Okay, my fav. current songs are Silly Fly and Come on Kid, but when I was lucky enough to see him in Dallas at the Loft I absolutely fell in love with Body and Mind! AMAZING! And… One of his older songs called Social Insecurity I will always love! Not only can he sing and write, but his piano skills are unbelievable! Pure talent!!!!

Josiah just put the album version of “Song Without A Reason” on his myspace.com/josiahleming page. This song has so much meaning. In part bc some of the lyrics are things his beloved Mom said to and about him. It is 100% auto biographical. Don’t forget to catch his LIVE broadcast tonight 6:30 Cali time/9:30 for you east coasters. The middle folks can figure it out for themselves, haha. Spring forward on your clocks….................

I just put a few pics from last Oct 2009 in Dallas. Josiah was in town to help with the efforts of “Falling Whistles,” the group that raises funds for a Campaign for Peace in Congo. Josiah was one of three artists to play at a home show that night and donated all proceeds from his CD and merch to the Falling Whistles fund. Oh what a night! Musical heaven. Brought me back to my younger days of sitting around the living room with lots of candles lit and someone strumming the guitar. And someone talking ablout peace. It was an honor to be there that night and meet the brave people working for change in our world. You can find out more here: http://www.fallingwhistles.com We were treated to some of Josiah’s songs that I hadn’t heard before such as “Silly Fly” and “Appalachia.” Also check out the short video I was able to shoot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhVi_CF9XEY

Tonights LIVE broadcast went really well. Loved the songs and the discussion, maybe Josiah could find someone else to filter the questions. Other than that he looked very comfortable in his skin tonight. He seemed to have fun “hanging” with his fans.

Actually he writes song after song everyday. If he didn’t write another one for weeks he’d have enough to fill 5 or 6 albums by now. The kid is very prolific as well as brilliant.
