MATT TEPPER - SAN FRANCISCO, CA
Matt Tepper defines the term, “Will work for music!” Since his punkier, funkier days of early acedemia, Tepp got started working for numerous punk rock, hardcore, ska, rock bands. In college he expanded his realm to include almost any genre of music from Phish to Fishbone. Literally seeing thousands of shows has given Matt not only countless musical experiences, but left him with numerous contacts in the music/live performance world. A few of his favorite bands are: Perpetual Groove, Phish, Particle, ALO, Big Light, Dr. Dog, SCI, Moe., Disco Biscuits, Nathan Moore, Edward Sharp & the Magnetic 0s, and the Rolling Stones, to name a few. Much of his passion each year spills out into the Caribbean in the form of Jam Cruise and his tireless efforts have led him to work, experience, and love festivals from Langerado to Camp Bisco, Gathering of the Vibes to High Sierra.
DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Competition
Every year around this time at the FanManager office we are increasingly busy running campaigns for many of our artists like Paul Oakenfold, Infected Mushroom, Shpongle (Simon Posford), The Crystal Method, and others on the DJ Magazine Top 100 Poll. Finishing in the top 10 in this poll has become more and more important for not only knowing who are the hottest DJ’s and other electronic musicians, but also to promoters who are looking to book their clubs and huge rave parties. If you can please help by voting for our artists in this poll it would be very appreciated! More about the poll is below. Also check out the hilarious video made by Infected Mushroom for this year’s contest. Many artists are getting more and more creative with how they promote themselves and this is a really fun example of how to do it right!
